Core decompression and acellular tissue-engineered bone implantation combined with titanium bar support
Although the joint replacement with titanium bar has become a mature method of treatment of ischemic necrosis of femoral head recognized, but the young and middle-aged patients have to accept one or more joints overhaul, with literature, according to the ischemic necrosis of the femoral head with an average age of 35, in this part of the patients retained femoral head is the preferred targets, and the new bone formation, and effective for decompression, revascularization subchondral bone support is the key to keep femoral head.
Common methods include: autologous fibular graft with blood vessel, allograft fibular graft, support of tantalum bar, core decompression combined with bone grafting or no bone grafting, among which core decompression was first carried out by Arlet and Ficat for bone functional exploration, and has been continuously studied by scholars, gradually becoming one of the main methods for early treatment of femoral head necrosis.
Guest contributors are welcome at the Alloy Wiki.It is a weekly wiki and guide on alloy information and processing technology, while also about the vast array of opportunities that are present in manufacturing. Our team of writers consists of a Machining Material Supplier / Machinist / Tool and Die Maker, a Biomedical Engineer / Product Development Engineer, a Job Development Coordinator / Adjunct Professor, and a President and CEO of a manufacturing facility.
